At Howard Farms, we stock fertilizer products from YARA, the industry leading fertilizer company. YARA are the only producers of complex compound fertilizers (CCF) on the island of Ireland and Howard Farms carry a full stock of YARA fertilizers in Kilcanway.

 

Their fertilizer range is available as a quality CCF product in top lift and big bags. A wide range of products are available to meet the needs of most farm enterprises.

 

YARA is the high quality CCF for grazing and silage on livestock farms. Choose from 27% N compounds with Sulphur and Selenium to zero % P compounds with Sulphur for grazing. For silage, choose from YARA SilageCut or YARA SulphurCut along with slurry to achieve target yields.

 

Yara fertilizers for tillage crops cater for soils of different nutrient status, standard mixtures and specials are available in quantities to match customer needs.

 

At Howard Farms, we can arrange soil sampling and testing and provide you with a workable Nutrient Management Plan (NMP).

Green Sward - 27-2.5-5

Recommended for grazing pastures, requiring Nitrogen and maintenance P & K levels.

AXAN - 27% N + 3.6% S

Recommended for all crops, top dressing for cereals and spring-autumn applications for grazing and silage crops, Sulphur added to ensure optimum crop growth.

Silage Cut - 24-2.5-10

Recommended for silage pastures, applying 200kg/acre will supply adequate Nitrogen, P & K for the first silage cut. Apply 150kg/acre for second cut silage.

Sulphan - 24% N + 6% S

Recommended for grazing and silage crops as a complimentary application to CAN or Urea in mid-season and autumn.

Granular Urea - 46% N

Recommended for grassland in early spring and autumn when soil moisture is adequate.

AMIPLUS - 46% N + NBPT

Recommended for all crops. Particularly suited for grassland as a follow on to granular urea in late spring, summer and autumn. N use efficiency is improved, with less than 5% ammonia losses.

New 18's - 18-6-12

Recommended for tillage and grassland crops. Provides a basic NPK dressing for cereals at sowing. New 18’s is very useful for grazing and silage crops on P & K deficient land. New 18’s is also ideal for reseeding land with Index 3 soils. Generally applied at 150-200kg/acre.

Nutri-Booster - 25% N + 2% S + Na + Se

Recommended for intensive grazing and silage, to supply mid-season Sulphur, Sodium and Selenium.

Extra Grass - 27-2.2-4.2 + 2.4% S

Recommended for grazing pastures, with 2.4% S added for late spring and mid-season use. Full rate 27% N and P & K.

Sulphur Sward - 27-1.76-3.3 + 2.4% S

Recommended for grazing pastures, with the addition of 4% S for late spring and mid-season use. Full rate 27% N and P & K.

CAN 27 - 27% N

Recommended for all crops, top dressing for cereals and spring-autumn applications for grazing and silage crops.

Zero P Sward - 26-0-5 + 4% S

Recommended for grazing pastures, where no P is required, with the addition of 4% S for late spring and mid-season use.

Zero P Cut - 24-0-10 + 2% S

Recommended for silage pastures, where no P is required, with the addition of 2% S for first and second cut silage.

Sulphur Cut - 22-1.7-11.6

Recommended for first and second cut silage at 225kg/acre for first cut and 181kg/acre for second cut. S added for use in S deficient areas. Ideally can be used in combination with Silage Cut.

Silage Booster - 20-2.2-12.5

Recommended for first and second cut silage on intensive silage cutting farms, with added S and Se.

Multi Crop - 8-10-20 + 2% S

Recommended for tillage and grassland crops on land requiring P & K build-up. Provides NPK +S for cereals at sowing. Very useful for grazing and silage crops on P & K deficient land. Also ideal for reseeding land with Index 1 & 2 soils. Generally applied at 150-200kg/acre.

Activa S - 16-6.5-12.5 + 2.6% S

Recommended for tillage and grassland crops. Provides a basic NPK +S dressing for cereals at sowing. Very useful for grazing and silage crops on P & K deficient land. Also ideal for reseeding land with Index 3 soils. Generally applied at 150-200kg/acre.

Super Booster - 25-2.2-4.2 + Na and Se

Recommended for grazing and silage pastures with added Na and Se, N and P & K.

Tropicote - 15.5% N + 19% Ca

Recommended for potato crops top dressing following an NPK fertiliser.

Magflo 300

A fully formulated flowable liquid fertilizer containing a high concentration of magnesium for foliar application to extend greeness in cereals and potatoes or to treat magnesium deficiency in a wide range of crops.

Mantrac Pro

A flowable liquid micronutrient fertilizer containing a high concentration of manganese for application as a foliar spray or seed treatment to a wide range of crops to treat or prevent manganese deficiency. Suitable for cereals and a wide range of arable and horticultural crops. This products delivers 27.4% Mn and is presented in a 5 litre container. Consult the label for more information.

Mancozin

A fully formulated flowable liquid micronutrient fertilizer containing high concentrations of manganese , copper and zinc for foliar application to treat micronutrient deficiencies on cereals and broadacre crops.

Foliar Potash

A fully formulated flowable liquid foliar fertilizer containing 500g/litre potash for foliar application to provide additional potassium for a wide range of crops including cereals.

Gramitrel

A flowable liquid fertilizer with a balanced combination of micronutrients including manganese, magnesium, copper and zinc for foliar application to cereals.
